Linux System Administrator Interview Preparation

So, these are some of the linux system administrator interview preparation topics I have shortlisted for you guys. To make it easier, i have also listed few video tutorials that can help you get started right away.

#1 LINUX :: Grub (VIDEO): Linux boot process

#2 LINUX :: Video Run levels

–> LINUX :: INODES. It’s important to understand the basics of the operating system before getting into more advanced stuff and inodes is one such concept. Here is a youtube video that talks more about inodes.

–> LINUX :: LVM. LVM certainly is a powerful way to use multiple storage devices effectively. This video here gives basic understanding of LVM and how to use it.

–> LINUX :: Performance Monitoring. A video that talks about list of commands that you can use to monitor a linux machine.

As my preparation goes on, I had also attended few interviews in between.
